LISA '04
LISA is the Large Installation System Administration (or LISA) conference put on by USENIX each year. It is probable that this is the biggest system administration conference anywhere.
LISA '04 was held on Nov. 14-19, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Tutorials
Mark Burgess presented two half-day tutorials:
- Introduction to Host Configuration and Maintenance with Cfengine the afternoon of Wednesday, November 17
- Advanced Topics in Host Configuration and Maintenance with Cfengine the morning of Friday, November 19
Cfengine Developer "Birds of a Feather" Session
There was a frank and informal "Birds of a Feather" (or BoF) discussion at LISA '04 about the future development of Cfengine, on November 16th 2004, Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. It was a discussion for those who want to talk about development, and was not intended for bug fixing, a tutorial, or a help session. Anyone was welcome under the condition that "they have ideas". The Minutes are now available!
